Austrian Airlines will begin using Spairliners for Integrated Component Care Support effective January 2016. The long-term contract was signed in December 2015 and covers component pooling and repair solutions of seventeen (17) Embraer E195 aircraft. With its latest customer the renowned component care specialist reinforces its leading position in Europe.

Sven-Uve Hueschler, CEO at Spairliners, says: “We will deliver the best services and knowledge to Austrian Airlines based on our comprehensive experiences on the E-Jet. As part of the long-term agreement we established a dedicated IT interface between Austrian Airlines AMOS maintenance IT system and Spairliners’ SAP system in order to handle component requests efficiently and reliably.” With this tailored IT interface all relevant request information can be accessed directly though the AMOS system which is exchanging data with Spairliners’ SAP system automatically.

Today, Spairliners has been supported more than 850,000 flight hours on the E-Jet fleet. The company’s strategy for 2016 is to further expand into the international market and services presence worldwide. In 2013, Spairliners enhanced its services portfolio by introducing and integrating additional Component Services for the E-Jet aircraft type. This was the result of its exceptional success with Integrated Component Care services on the Airbus A380, since the company’s foundation in 2005.
