About us

We are the world’s largest OEM independent component aftermarket service provider for the Airbus A380 and the Embraer E-Jet family. We are the only company worldwide that integrates repair processes, supply chain management, pool access and asset management in one solution designed specifically for these two aircraft types. Spairliners distributes serviceable aircraft parts from its central logistics centers and component pools in Frankfurt, Munich, Amsterdam, Singapore, Dubai, and Miami (Fort Lauderdale).

The Spairliners Story

Spairliners was founded in 2005 as an independent company to provide comprehensive support to Airbus A380 operators in all market regions. The joint venture between two leading MRO providers – Air France Industries and Lufthansa Technik – is fully committed to supporting this aircraft type in the aftermarket.
When the first A380 entered into service in 2007, the new high-tech “superjumbo” challenged the MRO market with relatively expensive parts and a multitude of new technologies. Spairliners’ pooling concept and integrated service approach offered an innovative way of supplying these demanding small fleets both cost-effectively and efficiently.
Based on the success of our A380 component support, we extended our service portfolio to the Embraer E-Jet aircraft family in 2013.
Since its foundation, Spairliners has shown its strength in operating large component pools and supporting less common aircraft fleets in a more cost-effective manner.

Shareholders

Spairliners is backed by two well-known MRO companies: Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI) and Lufthansa Technik (LHT).
Both MRO companies benefit from their proximity to world-leading airline groups. Our shareholders represent a global base of major airline customers and look back on many years of experience in technical aircraft support.

Spairliners is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, an internationally recognized quality management system standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The standard provides a framework for managing an organization’s quality process.
Our ISO 9001:2015 certification not only reflects our commitment to quality but ultimately our commitment to our customers’ business success. High-quality processes, customer focus, and state-of-the-art standards are not only a driving force in our company but a reality of our day-to-day operations.
Spairliners provides EASA as well as FAA certified components. CAA (UK) Certificates are available upon request.
